报告人简介：
Dr. Tao Yan is Professor of Environmental Engineering at the University of Hawai'i at Mānoaand Director of the Water Resources Research Center. His research focuses on environmental microbiology, water quality, wastewater-based epidemiology, antimicrobial resistance, and sustainable water treatment technologies. He has led numerous research projects funded by the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF), the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and other federal agencies. He haspublished extensively in leading environmental engineering and environmental microbiology journals. His research has contributed significantly to the understanding of pathogen transmission, microbial water quality, and wastewater surveillance for public health protection. He serves in leadership roles in several professional organizations and has received multiple honors, including the U.S. EPA STAR Early Career Award.
